DSCN1511

The rain stopped by the morning, +3 degrees in the morning, the surface of the snow got frozen a bit.

Easy to make some turns, even if the visibility seems to be poor of the day.

However, the cold weather is actually slowing down the melting progress of the snow.

After the noon, the visibility was totally recovered and turned to blue bird sky dramaticlly.

What a miracle!

I was asked frequently about “How’s the snow? Is the descending course still open? How will be the condition in May?”

Reviewing the closing day of the descending course in the past, 22 Apr. is the most day.

In the past, 2006~2007 was 10th, 2008~2009 was 13th, 2012~2013 was 16th.

And Alps Daira will be open until golden week this year as well.

It’s almost never happened in the past that no snowfalls in March and April,

all we could say about this year is “we’ll see”.

Let’s seize the moment and stay on the snow as much as possible.
