The sun rose upon white-capped peaks

As melting snow ran down the slopes

Still people come for fun they seek

Unaware of change that shapes their hopes

For winter’s mask has turned to spring

And so the white canvas will be filled with colour

What feeling should this sight bring

Good Morning it’s Cultus

 

Today my foggy curse has been broken so I thought I should celebrate by starting with a poem (I hope you enjoy 😀 )

 

With the final weeks approaching the crowds have quietened down which cements the feeling of the end. But that’s to come with seasonal activities. ( there is still plenty of fun to be had, the lower numbers mean that the guests that can make it get more time for fresh laps).

The soft snow makes it easier to make moguls however please obey the signage and refrain from making moguls in marked areas as it speeds up the narrowing of the course.

The time has come where wearing regular winter clothes is no longer practicable, thinner, cooler clothes means more exposed skin so please remember to wear sunscreen.

unfortunately one of my skis broke today so i changed into the green patrol factions for the day.

おはようございます、カルタスです。

今日は長くかかっていた霧の呪い（？）がようやく解けたので、記念に詩から始めてみました（楽しんでもらえたら嬉しいです ）。

シーズンも残りわずかとなり、ゲレンデの人出も落ち着いてきました。その静けさが、終わりの近さをより強く感じさせます。とはいえ、春ならではの楽しみはまだまだたくさんあります。人が少ない分、来られる方はフレッシュなラインをより多く楽しめますよ。

雪は柔らかくなり、コブも作りやすくなっています。ただし、コースの幅が早く狭くなってしまう原因になるため、標識のあるエリアではコブを作らないようご協力をお願いします。

また、厚手の冬用ウェアでは暑く感じる季節になってきました。薄着になると肌の露出も増えるので、日焼け止めを忘れずに。

ちなみに今日はスキーが一本壊れてしまい、代わりにグリーンのパトロール用装備で滑っていました。

次のブログでは、うまく修理できた報告ができればと思います。
