This morning I was finally greeted with a blue bird day.

However the good weather didn’t last very long as the 低い霧(low fog )Rolled in which made it extra challenging for the athletes competing in the various completions that we held today.

I have massive respect for the Junior athletes as they gave they’re best in the low visibility.

The cute metropoliko was MC for the World Mogul Camp today pumping up the athletes making it a fun atmosphere for everyone involved, every time I skied past it sounded like she was enjoying herself.

The 53rd Able Hakuba Goryu Goldwin junior cup also took place to day with the patrol team taking turns to watch over the athletes ensuring that they stayed safe.

Listening to the the Cheers from everyone as they’re friends and teammates stepped up to the starting gate filled my heart with joy. It made me remember when my teammates and family cheered for me. That familiar feeling of extra strength to push you along made me feel warm inside.

With the hot weather, keeping the snow nice and hard for the event is difficult so the goryu ski school worked hard this morning spreading ammonium sulfate(硫安) around the course to help it freeze.

 

Today we had a kamoshika make a guest appearance showing off it’s climbing ability by scaling a wall, they are so fascinating.

今朝はついに快晴のブルーバードデーを迎えました。

 

しかし、その良い天気は長くは続かず、低い霧が立ち込め、今日行われたさまざまな競技に参加する選手たちにとって、より一層難しいコンディションとなりました。

視界の悪い中でも全力を尽くしたジュニア選手たちには、心から敬意を表します。

 

今日はワールドモーグルキャンプで、可愛いメトロポリコがMCを務め、選手たちを盛り上げてくれていました。とても楽しい雰囲気で、滑りながら通り過ぎるたびに、彼女自身も楽しんでいる様子が伝わってきました。

 

第53回 エイブル白馬五竜Goldwinジュニアカップも本日開催され、パトロールチームが交代で選手たちを見守り、安全を確保していました。

 

仲間やチームメイトがスタートゲートに立つたびに、みんなからの歓声が響き渡り、その声を聞いていると胸がいっぱいになりました。かつて自分が仲間や家族に応援してもらった時のことを思い出し、背中を押してくれるあの感覚に、心が温かくなりました。

 

気温が高い中で、雪を大会に適した硬さに保つのは難しいため、今朝は五竜スキースクールがコースに硫安（硫酸アンモニウム）を撒き、雪面を固める作業を行っていました。

 

今日はカモシカがゲストのように現れ、壁を登るその驚くべき能力を見せてくれました。本当に魅力的な動物です。
